Trip Overview
Visit one of the world’s holiest sites during this six-day Mexico City vacation. Explore sites relating to the Virgin Mary’s appearance to St. Juan Diego in 1531, as well as Mexico’s other famous shrines, including Blessed First Martyrs, San Miguel Del Milagro, and Our Lady of Ocotlan. Experience Mexican culture as you sightsee in Mexico City, Puebla, and Coyoacan. Your trip culminates with a boat ride along Mexico’s Floating Gardens and a farewell dinner complete with a Mexican show and mariachi music.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrival
Arrive in Mexico City and transfer to your hotel. This evening enjoy a welcome reception and meet your traveling companions.

Day 2: Mexico City
Journey to Teotihuacan to see the ancient Pyramids of the Sun and Moon and view from inside the extraordinary Temple of Quetzalcoatl. Afterwards, visit Tulpetlac Church, site of the fifth apparition and healing of Juan Bernadino. Next experience one of the world’s most revered shrines—the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. View the famous Tilma of Juan Diego.

Day 3: Mexico City–Puebla
Travel to Tlaxcala and visit the Blessed First Martyrs Shrine and Church of San Francisco. Afterward, visit San Miguel del Milagro Shrine, where St. Michael the Archangel appeared to Diego Lazaro. Visit the grotto with its healing waters. Next explore Our Lady of Ocotlan Shrine, where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to Juan Diego. See her perfectly preserved image burned into the tree. Arrive in Puebla, one of Mexico’s prettiest colonial cities, and enjoy an evening guided sightseeing walk.

Day 4: Puebla–Mexico City
Journey to Cholula with its famous Pyramid and 365 churches. Afterward, sightsee in Mexico City, including the Main Square, National Palace, Cathedral, and Anthropology Museum. This afternoon, enjoy lunch at a cantina.

Day 5: Coyoacan
Travel to Coyoacan and visit Casa Azul and the city’s famous market. Next is a boat ride along the canals of Xochimilco, Mexico’s Floating Gardens. Afterward, enjoy one last visit to Our Lady of Guadalupe shrine before your special farewell dinner complete with a Mexican show and mariachi music.

Day 6: Departure
The tour ends this morning after breakfast with tour guests departing on individual schedules.
